Founder, Addie Dwyer in standing at a blue staircase in Busan, Korea when Sojura was beginning to come about

Our Story

Sojura was founded by Addie Dwyer, a mother of five and longtime traveler, who spent months searching for a backpack that could handle three months abroad with her family and never found one that didn't force a compromise. Some were organized but looked like hiking gear. Others were beautiful but fell apart after a few trips. None of them did everything she needed.

So she designed one herself.

Sojura creates thoughtfully made travel essentials for women who move constantly. Through airports, school drop-offs, and full workdays, without sacrificing style, comfort, or quality. Every detail has a reason. Nothing is decorative for its own sake.

"This backpack exists because I was frustrated enough that I had to build a better one." - Addie Dwyer

Our Design Philosophy

Functionality

Every feature has a purpose. No wasted pockets, no decorative details.

Thoughtful design that reduces friction and keeps you moving.

Versatility

Built to adapt across settings, from travel days to school drop-offs to full workdays, without needing a second bag.

Confidence

When your essentials work, you stop thinking about your bag and just move. We design for that feeling.

When design is intentional, what you carry supports you rather than slowing you down.
